Jesus that Hive tyrant fight looked boring as fuck. The same 5 moves and you just tap dodge. I'm betting this game is gonna get tedious pretty quick and is gonna be forgotten after a few weeks when people get through the honeymoon phase.

The way the devs changed everything in this date section except Aerith is just pretty telling which date is canon/tied with the narrative (along with Barret and Nanaki). Other than that is just fanservice imo lol

Heavy bolter? More like light bolter. That thing sounds lackluster and performs lackluster. The heavy class will suffer from being constantly overwhelmed by numbers.

The skywheel date with Tifa is canon for me. The skywheel date with Aerith is backup canon. The rest of the dates/hangouts are comedic.

I wish there would be melee weapon that heavy could use. Only knife, for exemple, as he carries a lot already. Or at least some kind of ,,bayonet” on the gun itself.

That Auspex animation is awful. It looks more like Necron tech than human. Animations and UI have been pretty dissapointing to me, so bright and colorful, it's very immersion breaking and not Grim Dark at all 😕

Choosing tyranids as main enemy is dumb move tbh. This game will die faster than Helldivers because people will get bored in few days of this mindless pew pew.

There are SO many things I love about this ending. - It humanizes Ebina, he's not totally evil, nor is he good - There was a tiny voice in him that wanted to be saved. He's like many things in this game, a gray zone. - Ichiban's relationship with Eiji, It's a parallel to how he redeemed Masato but this time we get to see it flourish. Eiji slowly breaking down, Ichiban protecting him from the world and assuring him that forever and always they will be pals despite what Eiji has done to him - Because god damnit Ichiban is just that good of a person. - Kiryu's ending, though I doubt this is the last we'll see of him, this ending perfectly rounds out his character. We don't get to see him reunite with Haruka but that'll be seen in the future and most poetic of all is that the Man who Erased his name finally stops running from his problems. Kiryu knows he fucked up as soon as he left the Tojo to Daigo and is making amends, people want to see Kiryu live to face the sins of the Tojo head on, to finally rectify the wrongs he's done and so he starts off with choosing to live and to finally FINALLY reclaim his name. I love this game, best 100+ hours of my life.

Having Tyranids as the antagonists of course means losing any sense of personality for the bosses, but I guess they could go with some elite recurring enemy coming back and back again, RE3 Nemesis style. It could be an Old One Eye equivalent (a regenerating Carnifex that just. doesn't. stay. down), or maybe a Tyrant consciousness that gets "reuploaded" into the new bodies to fight Titus again with updated experience.
